The Golf Loft is an upscale indoor golf and entertainment destination blending golf and hospitality.
Our original Hanover, PA location features 4 Trackman bays, club fittings, instruction, and membership options.
Our flagship 13,000 square foot location in State College, PA boasts 10 Trackman bays, a full bar and kitchen, PuttView, Dartsee, and a 7,000 square foot front patio overlooking Beaver Stadium.
We currently have 10+ locations in development throughout the Northeast and Midwest.
Role Description
The Bartender at The Golf Loft – State College is a key hospitality and revenue-driving role, responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating an engaging, high-energy bar experience for guests.
Bartenders are brand ambassadors who execute cocktails, draft beer, wine, and specialty beverages with speed, consistency, and professionalism in a fast-paced, entertainment-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Service & Guest Experience
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Execute cocktails, draft beer, wine, and specialty beverages consistently and accurately
- Provide friendly, professional service at the bar and throughout the venue
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere
Operations & Team Support
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking levels
- Monitor inventory and assist with restocking and bar setup/cleanup
- Support servers and barbacks during peak service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
Compliance & Standards
- Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible service practices
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Uphold The Golf Loft brand standards for service, professionalism, and appearance
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and draft systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service
